Directions
1. Mix sugar, salt and flour together. Add water and cook until clear. Add lemon juice, grated rind and butter. Add beaten egg yolk and cook two minutes.
2. Pour into a baked pie shell.
3. Make meringue of two egg whites, one-half cup sugar, one-half teaspoon baking powder
4. Top pie with meringue. Bake 20 minutes in slow 300 F. oven
