Diane Henderiks’ Creamy Sundried Tomato Spread

Description
A rich but low-fat spread for crackers or raw vegetables.Ingredients
1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, blanched and drained
8 ounces lowfat cream cheese, room temperature
¼ cup finely chopped walnuts
1/3 cup dry white wine
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 teaspoon True Lemon (one packet)
1 teaspoon of your favorite dried hot spice
3/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/3 cup fresh basil; finely chopped
Crackers or crostini
Directions
1. In a food processor combine first 6 ingredients (sundried tomatoes through True Lemon).
2. Process until well-blended.
3. Remove to large bowl and stir in hot spice, salt, pepper and basil.
4. Chill for about 1 hour.
5. Serve with crackers, crostini and raw veggies
6. Enjoy!
